To build lterm from source code you need developing files for the following libraries:
- GTK+ toolkit (better if version 3)
Build and install
Once you got the tarball, follow the standard steps:
tar -vxf lterm-x.y.z.tar.gz cd lterm-x.y.z ./configure makeBecome root and type:
make installIf you have both GTK2 and GTK3 installed on your system, lterm links with GTK3 by default.
To force linking with GTK2 configure this way:
./configure --with-gtk2See INSTALL file for more configuration parameters.
Mac OS X
The easiest way to get lterm on Mac OS X is to download the dmg file from repository.
To build lterm from source code follow this guide: live.gnome.org/GTK%2B/OSX/Building.
There are several dependencies on X11 libraries, so XQuartz package is needed.
